Play Farm-opoly!

January 5, 2012

Our latest vote ‘More or less ELS?’ is all about ‘ELS points’ — farmers being paid for including environmentally friendly things on their farm.

Our latest Teaching Tools is a Farmopoly a fun game for children (or keen adults!) to play to learn more about ELS points and what they can mean on a farm.

Download Farmopoly now

As the name suggests it’s based on the popular Monopoly game.

You will need:

  1. A printer and scissors — to print off and cut out your Farmopoly game board; ELS point notes (children, please ask an adult for help with the scissors)
  2. A dice
  3. Counters for each person that wants to play — a coin or pen lid will do, anything so long as every player can recognise their own piece

You’re ready to play!

We hope you enjoy our latest Teaching Tools content.  We’d love to hear back from schools, teachers (or just keen parents) about what you and your children think of them.
